List of Deadliest Cyclones in the Philippines
Because of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), I got curious about the

of this; we experience lots of rains and thunderstorms throughout the year.

Based from this information, our country has been
continuously hit by deadliest cyclones for a decade now (2004, 2006, 2008,
2011, 2012 and 2013); 6 out of 10 years. Unbelievable but true and with what is
happening right now particularly global warming; Philippines is likely to
experience untimely and stronger typhoons that will cause damages not only to our properties and also to our lives.

Victim of Typhoon Haiyan
Our country was hit by the strongest typhoon on November 8, 2013. We have heard nothing from our families in Samar until November 12, 2013. We have heard from the news that our province was only getting limited assistance and to help them out, our family decided to contribute to provide them their basic needs like food, medicine and clothing. Today, November 18, 2013; we are going home and will hand over these things. I thank my family (Rancile and Bantilan, both in the Philippines and the US ) for making this possible.
Let us be reminded that God gives his strongest battles to his strongest soldiers. Our family will stay strong and we're going to face this challenge together.
